A Farewell Message from Beckie Cassidy
Beckie CassidyFor the past three years, I've had the opportunity to be the Program Director of JMEC.  As Program Director, I have been lucky enough to meet people from all different backgrounds working in all different positions in many industries.  The experiences I've had in this position have been invaluable, and I will take these with me both back to Washington D.C. and throughout my career in the future. I'd just like to say thank you to all of the participants, project clients, lecturers, mentors, consultants, executive committee members and sponsors who have supported JMEC both during my tenure and throughout the past fifteen years.  I'd also like to wish Laura Loy, the new JMEC Program Director, and Tanja Bach, the new JMEC Assistant Program Director, the best of luck in JMEC 16 and beyond.

Message from New Assistant Director Tanja Bach Tanja Bach
Hello!  My name is Tanja Bach, I am the new JMEC Assistant Program Director. I first came to JMEC in 2007 as a participant. The following two years I had the opportunity to be one of the lecturers for the team building workshop led by AMT-Group, in addition to having the privilege to mentor the 2nd prize winners of JMEC 15. German by nationality, I grew up in Switzerland,  studied and worked in the US, Europe and Japan. I settled in Tokyo in 1999. I have extensive experience in the finance sector in the front, back and middle office functions. Three years ago I changed into the HR field, working as a management trainer and a life coach. I am excited to continue to help promote and further JMEC in my new role as Assistant Director. I look forward to meeting you in person at one of the future JMEC functions or in the meantime, feel free to email me at tanja@jmec.gr.jp.
